Our Mission:
  • To provide affordable housing and supportive services to the homeless and the near homeless; and
  • To work with other groups and individuals to eliminate the causes of homelessness in the southern twenty-four counties of Illinois
Our office is at 801 N. Market, Marion, Il. We provide HUD transitional housing and permanent housing for adults with disabilities with supportive services in Williamson and Jackson Counties. Services are provided at home visits and at group meetings every other month.SICH also provides an opportunity for low and very low income families to buy a home in 9 counties through the "Homeless to Homeowner" Program.
Opportunities for housing are open to all sub-populations, including ex-felons and persons living with HIV/AIDS. Please contact us also for referrals to all other housing programs and services in our 24 county service area.
